Use the current official route
Vietnam Immigration states that its electronic visa portal moved to evisa.gov.vn and thithucdientu.gov.vn in November 2024. Apply and check the result through those government domains.
The authority describes the eVisa as valid for a maximum of 90 days, single or multiple entry. That is an upper limit. Use the dates and conditions printed on the document actually granted to you.
Pre-departure control list
- Passport details entered exactly as printed, including name order and passport number.
- Arrival date, intended stay and number of entries match the application.
- Selected arrival and departure points appear on the official eVisa entry-point list.
- Return or onward travel and first accommodation details are readily available.
- A clear offline copy of the granted eVisa is retained with the travel documents.
Do not combine separate decisions
Entry eligibility, airline boarding checks and travel insurance are separate controls. A commercial insurance product does not create visa eligibility, and an approved eVisa does not replace the airline's document and passport checks.
Quick answers
Can Indian passport holders apply for a Vietnam eVisa?
Vietnam's official tourism authority states that citizens of all countries and territories can apply. Eligibility and the outcome still depend on the current official process and the individual application.
Does a Vietnam eVisa always allow a 90-day stay?
No. Ninety days is the official maximum. Follow the validity, entry count and conditions shown on the visa that is actually issued.
